Hello, I have win2000 on a couple of computers and xp on
my laptop. I had my network working until recently, then
I seemed to get shut out. I get a message that I dont
have access permission. network path not found. I am on a
hub with dsl connection and all are online. I am listed
as administrator and am not getting a prompt to type
passwords? any ideas?

You are listed as administrator where? On the laptop? Do you have the same
account on all machines? Can you ping the other machines?

Thank you so much for responding. I am listed as
administrator on all machines, they are all set to mshome,
I ping and it succeeds. I think my problem may have
occurred around the time I loaded up a norton firewall.I
have disabled it but still no go. Any ideas?

Thanks again,
Joe

Since you metnioned a firewall, that reminds me - XP also has a built-in
firewall, make sure it is disabled while you are troubleshooting this.
Please be more specific about exactly the steps you are taking and the exact
error message you see.
