Hows it goin?
I have a computer with XP on it and I have another computer with Windows 95 installed. Is it possible to set up a network with different operating systems? If so and if it only is two computers, do i need a hub or can i just connect network card to network card with the network cable? Also, how do I view this newsgroup in Outlook Express?

I think XP and 95 will talk to each other and you will need a hub to do
that. Both PCs with network cards and then connect the PCs to the hub.

Outlook Express: you have to create a NEWS account and then you can add
newsgroups after.
A free one is: msnews.microsoft.com and there is no password. Just use that
as your server your connecting to.

Good luck
Thanks

Yes, it's possible. You will have to install NetBEUI on the XP machine.
You can use a network cross-over cable and eliminate the need for a hub.
Setup a news server in your accounts, then subscribe to it.
