Hi,
I have a home network using internet connection sharing and it been working
fine but now the second pc can't connect the the internet through the host
PC. I keep getting the error message that the connection is limited or there
is no connectivity, I tried to repair using the repair option and it tries to
renew the ip address but it keeps failing.

Any help would be appriciated.

I would recommend removing Internet Connection sharing on the host PC and
then reinstalling it. Can't recall whether a restart is involved in doing
this--I would do two, I think:

1) uncheck Internet Connection shareing.
2) reboot
3) recheck Internet Connection shareing
4) reboot
5) test at client PC.

It is possible that shortcutting this might work, if the reboots are not
mandating--try it if you wish!

Cheers Bill,

I've tried this and it seems to have sorted the problem.

Thanks one again.

Terrific---one problem with ICS is that it is sort of a black box, and if a
piece of it--say, dns or dhcp, stops working, you have to recreate it as a
whole. Glad that worked.
