trying to set up home network of 2 computers. They are
connected through a switch, and both register a network
connection. My machine (running XP Home) can see the other
computer in its workgroup but when I try to open it to view
shared folders and printers, an error message tells me that
"the network path was not found" and suggests that
permissions are the problem. The Win98SE PC cannot see the
other or itself in Network Neighbourhood at all.
I've searched google concerning this problem but while
there are many people asking this question, I haven't found
any answers. Can somebody give me an answer to this
apparently common problem?
