I am trying to put a computer on a small 10 computer
network. There are 3 different versions of windows
running on this network now. The computer I am trying to
get to work has windows 98. All the computers with
Windows 98, 2000 and ME, see this new computer. The ones
with XP dont. It wont let me When I try to add this
computer to the network on the XP machines.

What is the problem and how do I fix it.

XP Pro will only allow up to 10 network connections.
Anything over that requires a server and CALS.

I have the same problem. Three nodes are WinXP, Win98,
Win2000Pro. Win98 and Win2000 can see and share files
using the "WORKGROUP" network group but the WinXP can't.
Tried using the Network Setup Wizard and create the
network setup floppy but now none of the nodes can see
each other !@#$%
I hope someone from MS support views these posts and
offer some help.
