Okay my topology is as follows: I'm at RIT so I get my
internet connection from RIT.. i have my internet
connection going into my Linksys router.. behind the
router is a Windows 2000 Server machine, which is a
domain controller, a Windows 98 box, and a Windows XP
box. The 98 box finds the domain and joins it fine.. and
the 2000 Server and 98 machine can communicate just fine
on the network. But.. my XP machine doesn't find the
domain.. and can't communicate with the other two
machines whatsoever, and they can't communicate with the
XP box. Even before i set up the domain.. the 98 and
2000 server machines could communicate fine on a
Workgroup.. and the XP couldn't. Anyone know why this
is? Some security setting i dont know about? I will be
eternally greatful for some help on this!
