At my work there are two printers of the same type (HP PSC1350) hooked up on the same network. The one in my boss's office is used for his computer and the other one is used on one of the other offices. The problem is that quite often, when he is using his computer, it will start installing the printer drivers for the other printer and it will automatically change the other printer to his default printer. How do we keep this from happening? How can we make sure that his computer will not keep switching default printers?
Edit: I have contacted Hewlet Packard and hopefully solved the problem. Glen told me to remove all HP items from starup by going into msconfig and unchecking all of the HP related items. Also, if you have this same problem make sure you didnt install the software twice on the same computer. If I find out this didnt work i will come back and edit it again.
