Networking Permissions

Payom

I have two windows xp machines. When I try to get the
laptop to access files on the desktop it states that I do
not have "permission to access the resource" ie the files
or even the other computer's work group! File and printer
sharing is turned on for both computers and all files are
shared. Whats going on and how to I solve this?

and microsoft is not any help!
 
I have the same problem, but have already the same username and password!?!

From the first Computer I can't see the other comptuer in the explorer but I
can search for the computername and the find the other computer. But with an
dpule click I only get the informtaion that I haven't the permission for the
workgroup or Reccource :-(

From the second Computer actually I also can't search for the other
computers name - no result.

IP PC1: 192.168.0.1
IP PC2: 192.168.0.0
Subnet All 255.255.255.0
No Firewall


PLEASE HELP ME!!!
