Windows 2000 by default has file and print sharing enabled and can accept up to a
total of ten sessions at a time from network users. You would have to either enable
the guest account on it, which is not recommended unless all users are trusted and
you have a firewall to protect from the internet, or you can add user accounts to the
local users via lusrmgr.msc. Then if a user who logs onto their computer has a
matching logon/password on the W2K computer they will be able to access shares that
they have permissions to for both share and ntfs permissions. --- Steve
