Paul

I just bought a new computer and (Dell) wireless router.
Set up the router first with my Win XP Home machine.
Works fine. Added the new (XP Office) machine and a Win
ME machine. OK-ish: all computers can access the
internet and ping each other.

Problem: my XP Home machine can see drives on both other
computers, and each can see drives on each other. But
neither can see the drives on the XP Home machine!

Anyone know what is happening and can help fix it?
Thanks so much if you can.

The most likely problem is that XP's Internet Connection Firewall is
enabled, which blocks file and printer sharing. You must disable it
on a local area network connection. This web page has details:

.
Is FILE AND PRINT SHARING set on the XP Home system?

Thanks Pavan, but this article referred to Win ME. The
main computer that cannot be seen is running Win XP Home.
