Have two computers that were originally on the same LAN (for file/printer
sharing). After some debugging of one, they are now on separate LANs and
needless to say, don't "see" each other. How can I correct that? Thanks for
all help

Check each computer's properties: righ-clic "My Computer->Properties", Then
select "Computer Name" tab, click "Change..." button. Make sure the 2
computer is in the same "Domain" or "Workgroup".

They are in same workgroup 'MSHOME' but one shows connected on LAN1 and the
other on LAN2.

I'll assume LAN1 is controlled by a router and LAN2 is controlled by a
router. I don't know what you have going on there. But in any case with two
LAN(s), then the two LAN(s) are segmented or separated from each other, and
the machines will not be able to see each other. The machines have to be on
the same LAN in order for them to see each other.

Ok, understood, is there a way to get them both on the same LAN? They are
hooked to the same router - sorry but very lacking in knowledge on this.
