I just obtained a new desktop with Windows XP Home
Edition. When I tried to add it to my existing home
network, it can't access the other computers (all on Win
98). I disabled the firewall and eliminated all but
TCP/IP protocols on all other computers. My network is a
simple Ethernet system using a four port switching hub.
All computers have access to the Web, but do not "see"
each other. Icons for all computers appear in the
networking indow on the XP machine, but I get an error
message when click the icons that says the server is not
accessible, network path not found. I have tried all the
angles, but cannot seem to get the machines to see each
other.
Thanks in advance.
