Networking issues

After installinf Network adapter and router can get
service on computer that has router. Computer with
adaptor will not even let me log in. It says password no
longer valid. I did not change password , computer with
adaptor show ups on host computer just no access.
 
What operating systems are you running? Try to provide some information
about your setup when asking a question.
