i have a pc running xp and recently purchased a laptop running home basci
vista. I have both to belkin router for wireless(lapotop) and
ethernet(desktop) connections. is it possible to create a home network so
that i can view the materials from one computer to another and also print
from both to ne printer?

Using your Win XP Desktop, go to the control pannel and in the network area
it will allow you to set up a network setup disk (it defaults to A:\) copy
the files to a flash drive and run it under vista. Also right click the
folders you want to share and enable sharing. That should be about it. Let me
know if any problems.

Trumiester, I have this same problem, but can use the internet on my new
Vista laptop. However, I tried running the network wizard and the Vista
laptop said that I could not add the computer to the network. Thanks for
your help.
