Is it possible to network computers using XP on the
master/server and Win 98/95 on the other units. I have
lan pci cards with coaxial cable hookups. Just had to
replace server in my business and can't get the new
server to be recognized in the network. Had been able to
network with old versions but XP is different. Need help.
Thanks

All versions of Windows can network with each other, David. Yes, XP
looks different, but the basics of networking are still the same.
I've written a web page that should help you get everything working:

Adding Windows XP to an Existing Network

The biggest problem might be finding a network card with a coaxial
cable connection that works in XP.

Thanks Steve I printed your article and will give it a
try. I believe I have a PCI adapter that will work and is
appearing. It is a Realtek (I think).
