How do I create a home network between a computer running
windows xp and a computer running windows me. I want them
to be able to view each others shared folders. Right now
I can not get the XP to see windows me shared folders and
vice versa.,

Hi. You havent given alot of info. Is th XP the main pc?
Have you run the Internet Connection Sharing Wizard that
sets up a home network? Are they in the same workgroup?
Does the XP machine have an address of 192.168.0.1? These
are important details.

Got to start>settings>network connections, right click on "network
connections", select "open". In left hand corner, Network Tasks, run
the "Set up home or small office network."

You may need to make a floppy disk as directed and run it on the Windows
ME computer.
