Hi,
I have set up a newtork of 6 computers.
1 computer has internet access and the others connect to the internet
through this.
Is there a way of disabling internet access on one of the computers?
All computers are runningt Xp sp2 and the internet computer is set to
allocate isp's to the others.

Thanks,
Andy.

To disable Internet access on one of the computers, configure its
TCP/IP properties manually. Assign it an IP address in the same
subnet as the other computers, but don't assign it a default gateway
or DNS server. If you don't want users of that computer to be able to
change those settings, give them limited user accounts.

Thanks for that Steve.
Whilst that would be ok I was hoping for something like setting up user
accounts on the internet computer so I could just turn the connection on/off
for each of the other comps.

Any other ideas?

You're welcome, Andy. I'm sorry, but I don't know another way to do
what you're asking. I assume that you want other computers to have
LAN access for file and printer sharing even if they don't have
Internet access.
