Hello Group,

I have a problem with connecting my computer with a printer.
I have 4 computers.
2 Macs / 2 Windows - 1 is win98 and the other is XP

All four are connected through routers, and I "did" have the printer
connected to the XP through a LPT port.
I did some re-arranging and I needed to hook the LPT plug to the win98
computer.
I now have the win98 and 2 Macs printing just fine.
But for the life of me, I cannot get the XP to see the printer that is now
hooked to the win98

Can anyone offer some advice please?

Thanks,
Scott

IMO, buy a print server gadget for under $50 and set it up for LPRd
("TCP printing"). Here's a URL for a search on NewEgg that shows what
is on the market.

Pick one that comes with W98 print software. Every Windows since W98
can connect via LPR without added software. I've set up countless PCs
and printers via TCP printing.
