Hey all,

I have 2 computers I am trying to network together for
device sharing purposes. The host computer is runnign XP
and second PC is running 2000. I know network wizard wont
work because it is not compatiable with 2000. I have a
router on my internet connection and want to network
throught the same router. Is it possible to network the 2
with hardware and software I have? If so how do I do this?

Thanks,

Shawn

.
ethernetuser
the router you have is between internet and your host
PC,is not resposible for your home network.
you need a ethernet Hub or switch (5port 10/100Base T
RJ45 with socket cost $10.00)connected to the router
though a cat5/cat5e cable, and rest of the devices (PC's
or printers) pluged in too. and you will have all the
pc:s shareing internet and local area network at the same
time. enjoy it!
