Networked printer

I was wondering, when you have a printer on a small home network consisting
of 2 computer through a router, the computer with the printer attached
locally, should the printer icon have a sharing hand under it or should it
look like a networked printer icon?
 
Hi,

I have an XP Pro client on a wireless NIC, with 5
desktops attached to the network. One printer is
attached to the router's print servier port, other
computer have their printers attached to their parrallel
ports. All of my printers on the XP Pro machine show the
network icon, the printers showing on the other machines
show the helping hand icon. Is that what you wanted to
know?
