I gave up trying to use Netowrk Wizard and did some
configuring on my own. Host computer is using XP Prof and
Client computer is using XP Home.
LAN: The Local Area Connection does NOT have the Firewall
checked. WINS for TCP/IP is set Enable NetBios over TCP/IP.
The IP address for the Host computer is 192.168.0.1, Subnet
mask as 255.255.255.0 and the client computer to 192.168.0.2.
Both had workgroups set as MSHOME. I don't know how but the
client workgroup stayed as home, the host was reset to
WORKGROUP, but it worked, they were networked.
Dialup: it also showed that it was connected through my ISP
on Host Computer. Then I tried internet sharing from Client
to Host, but wouldn't work and found the document
"Troubleshooting Internet Connection Sharing on Microsoft®
Windows® XP" that said the IP for dialup on Client had to
"Obtain IP Address Automatically" and "Obtain DNS Server
Automatically". So I changed those settings and I was able
to connect to the internet through the host computer.

Transferred files from my Host to Client and now my network
connection is GONE. Tried resetting everything but can't
get it to work. Tried a System Restore to before I
transferred the file but when the network and internet
connection was working, NO GO.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot to say I'm using a crossover cable. I guess there
are EXTRA problems with this?
