Network XP Pro with Home Edition

I am trying to network my home computers one has XP pro and the other Home edition. I followed the network prompts but still nothing. I have cable modem and using a router. ALso would like share printer as well, but no luck with that either.

Run the Network Setup Wizard on both computers. Tell it that they
connect to the Internet through a "residential gateway". It will make
all the right network settings:
