NETWORK WIZARD FAILS DUE TO AN ERROR

I GET THIS MESSAGE EVERY TIME I TRY TO USE THE HOME
NETWORK WIZARD "an error occured during configeration of
the network on this computer". SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. MY
2 PC'S ARE CONNECTED THROUGH LAN WITH A CROSSOVER CABLE.
I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO GET THIS TO WORK. I AM GETTING
THIS MESSAGE ON THE HOST PC.

i am getting the same problem and i have been told there

is a problem with xp home network .microsoft are not
helping. i have been told there is a command missing i
could do with some help also.i am begining to scream.
