Hi folks

I have a small 3 PC Windows 98 network. I recently bought
a laptop with XP Home. I'm told that the two are
incompatible but I need the laptop to connect to the
network for file sharing etc.

Can anyone suggest the best way to do this so that it
won't cost me a fortune in upgrading all machines to XP
Pro or similar. Would simply upgrading the laptop to XP
Pro do the trick?

I've tried running W98 on the laptop but it's a pain in
the neck as I don't have drivers for some of the hardware.

Thanks folks

Ian,

Windows XP Home works just fine with Windows 98 when set up
properly, so don't worry about upgrading all other computers.
