We have a small network using XP Home as the server. When
we connect a 6th unit to the network it gives us an error
NO MORE CONNECTIONS CAN BE MADE....AS MANY AS COMPUTER CAN
ACCEPT. Cannot find where to adjust and add additional
connections

Windows XP Home Edition allows a maximum of 5 other computers to
connect to its shared resources simultaneously. Windows XP
Professional allows a maximum of 10 other computers to connect to its
shared resources simultaneously. I'm sorry, but there's no way to
change the limit.

Computers that aren't actively connected to a computer's shared
resources don't count against the limit. When a computer disconnects
from a shared resource, it no longer counts against the limit.
Unfortunately, mapping a network drive counts as a connection.
