Hi,
this sounds rather strange, but ...
i am surfing via a DSL router, so internet and local lan
traffic travels through the same NIC.
i can download large files and upload stuff at like 80
KByte/second without problems.
But as soon as a pc in my lan .. like my notebook starts to
copy files from my desktop to its own harddrive or vice
versa my desktop pc hangs up after some time.
the transfer method doesnt affect this crash. i can
transfer stuff via http, ftp or windows share. result is
always a crash when i have traffic with high-speed over
some time.
this phanomenon does not occur at low speed ( ~80 kbyte/sec
)
im really puzzled. i can even synchronize my c++ sources on
both pcs as 4 mb is already enough to crash my desktop when
transmitted at high speed .
