network stop working when I start voice conversation

Last two weeks or so, I found that when I start voice chat
on MSN Messenger, for some reason my router is jamed. I
have to unplug the power it down and power it up and then
I have connection (cable internet) again.
Does anybody have something similar?

This has been an issue before with some routers which don't properly implement UPnP
(Universal Plug and Play). Which router is it?
