Network Solutions--Questionable Behavior

A few days ago, one of my customers told me that a person from Network
Solutions
called him (less than a month after I helped the customer set up his domain
with Network Solutions) and attempted to sell the customer numerous
services. The services included on-site network repair, installation,
software, etc.

Our customers via us (the techies) pay this company for domain names and the
registration service, which they are now allegedly using to solicit
business via an entrusted and essentially free contact list.

I am not one hundred percent positive that Network Solutions is doing such
an un-ethical solicitation. The customer may have misunderstood the caller.

Has anyone else heard of Network Solutions doing this to their customer
base?

I don't know of Network Solutions doing this, but I'm sure this is not the
forum to ask such a question.
