network slow..

Hi, my problem is:

Pc with Win XP = Fast net and data transfer from server.

Same Pc with Win Vista = Slow net and data transfer from server.

WHY?

its not possible, check if any firewall installed and . check using
ping command

ping "ip address" -t -l 1024

"-l 1024" is an load given on network you can also increase it. to
check your network physicall connectivity

No firewall, no software adware, no antivirus... nothing... only Win Vista
(firewall disabled)

You may want to try Disable the automatic adjustment for the TCP window
size. This link may help.

In you Network connection, try unticking the TCP/IPv6 option.

Leave the old TCP/IPv4 ticked.

Some ISPs have a prob with it. v4 is 32bit, v6 is new and 128bit.
 
I also add

netsh interface tcp set global rss=disabled

to the mix.. That's the one that fixed mine for the RTM build...
