Ihave an old IBM Thinkpad 760XD, with Windows 2000
professional. It has a XIRCOM CreditCard Ethernet 10/100
card in the PCMCIA slot.
The card shows as operating properly, and when I connect
it to my network, it shows connected at 100Mbps. However,
there is no traffic at all. Zero packets.
Interesting thing is that while the PC is booting, you
can see the lights on the router come on, but when it
gets to the "configuring network" stage in the bootup,
the traffic stops, although it is recognized as connected.
Any ideas what is happening?
