Hi All,
I have a group of users, on different parts of the network, who open the
same MDB file residing on a common network drive. Thus they have the same
collection of queries, on the same data, etc.
The remote MDB links to data in a MySql table.
Recently, the MySql server IP address was changed, and so duly adjusted on
each participating computer's ODBC connector. However, now the MDB file is
no longer able to locate the table despite this alteration. It continues to
look for the original IP address.
Further, if I re-link the table for a given computer, it will work as
expected for that computer, but not for the other participants.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this please? - So it will again be a common
link file correctly accessable by all the computers. ( We cannot start
from scratch -too much time has been spent amassing a set of queries. )
Thanks
John
