I have a laptop and desktop / Belken router G. Everything worked fine until
yesterday. Now I no longer can connect to the router (at the desktop) from
the laptop. I tried the "Wireless Network Setup Wizard" in control panel it
did not create a network connection. The only item in Network Connections
is: "1394 connection...LAN or High-Speed Internet, etc. There is no network
icon on the lower right hand corner of the screen. All of the connections
seem fine on the desktop.

Please advise.

Try a System Restore to a point where things were working. I've found that
sometimes this only works in Safe Mode.

There are more things that can be attempted, but this may be the quickest.
