When trying to SETUP A HOME OR SMALL OFFICE NETWORK when
I get to the name a workgroup name it keeps defaulting to
MSHOME. I want to use another name, but the setup will
not save my name selection.
Second, when I get to READY TO APPLY SETTINGS... it
states CONNECTING VIA ICS THROUGH DEVICE: UNKNOWN
INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING.... This should be my router,
since I am connecting wireless through a router, not XP's
ICS!!!!

I have internet connection on the host and client pc, but
cannot establish file sharing. The pc's do not detect the
other in VIEW WORKGROUP COMPUTERS.
I need help!!!!!!!! Been working on this for days....

Mine always defaults to MSHOME when I run the wizard. I go back in and
change it after the network's installed.
Do you use the wizard from control panel network settings or from the
tools\options menu of internet explorer? Try the IE one.
What settings are you selecting when you run the wizard? "Connect using a
broadband connection that's always on"?

Hello
need to make sure you have your Local Area Connection
Properties Protocols are set right need to install NWLink
IPX/SPX, and TCP/IP
then run your wizard (on the host puter)(the one the
printer is on) it will default to MSHOME everytime you
run it, just name your puters different and type in the
workgroup name then when you get to where you can create
a floppy do so and run it on the other puters.
