network safety!!

I,just network two computers in my house, and i've a
problem. How i can share resources, while in the same
time protect my network, with out enable (ICF)internet
connection firewall? If's a way to do that, please help!!

Why not enable it and then open the ports you need to share files?

OR.. Install NetBEUI.

OR.. Get a Internet Router with Firwall and use private IPs.

Do you want to share stuff on your own network? If so you'll need to
install the share protocols and NetBIOs.
