Hello I have just bought a router linksis wrt350n and hooked up. I can
access the internet from both my desktop asnd laptop so that is going ok.
What I need to ask is can someone help me set up my computers to mshare files
etc. I keep reading how easy this is but somehow I am missing something. I
can run the wireless setup wizard but I cannot figure how to access the files
from my desktop on my laptop and vice versa. Reading articles in mags and in
the help posts make this seem so simple so that is why I think I must be
missing something simple. The way my system is setup is cable to modem, cat5
modem to router, cat5 router to desktop, wireless to laptop. I want to
eventually be able to stream to my TV so that is why I went top shelf with
gigabit router and am running with cat5 to my desktop. Can some one point me
to some info?

If you have setup a network on all PC's using the same WorkGroup Name it
should work, so I will assume that is what you have done.

Have you set up a SHARE on the PC that holds the folders you want to be
visible to other PC's. You may need to do this as an Admin user but you
should right click on the folder or printer that you want to share and
select "Properties". You should see a tab called "Sharing", if not logon as
an Admin and do the same, you will see the tab.
Set the share up with name and password if you want to. It should then be
visible from the other PC's Explorer -> "My Network Places". Once you see
it, setup a shortcut on the other PC.

Hope this helps
