I have a machine running Win2k. If I click My Network
Places and click the workgroup listed, I get an error.
The message says that "Workgroup Name is not accessible".
It is some test machines and they have the same subnet
mask. Is there something in the registry that could be
set to prevent the resources from being listed?

Is the machine itself a member of the workgroup? Check the spelling.
Make sure the IP network number is the same, not just the subnet. The
account that logged in, check for restriction in users and groups.
