Hi,

I'm having some trouble with my network.
After working normally for some time (20 - 40 mins, sometimes an hour)
it just shuts down and i can't reach the LAN, router and internet
anymore.
Windows doesn't show the connection as down though, its seems to be
activated, just not transmitting anything.
I have to reboot to get it to work again and only till it shuts down the
next time.

I have tried several different NIC's to no avail.
Also swapped out the PSU thinking it might be some wierd power problen.
Still a no go.

Any suggestions ?

What is your network settings?

do you apply static IP address? or Dymanic IP Address?
If you use Dynamic IP Address, do you have DHCP server?

open command prompt. (Start > Run... > type cmd)
then type ipconfig/all
whta kind of status do you have?
(when you have connection and when you loose connection, both)

IP is static.

I disabled the onboard network interface in the BIOS and that seems to
have helped.
I'll check with ipconfig if it happens again.
