Vista RTM can't establish correct Internet connection through ADSL
(Ethernet) modem.
Also it says everything is all right (Local and Internet) I can't enter any
Web site or even ping modem itself. Could somebody help me?

ADSL: D-Link DSL-300T
NIC: Intel Pro/1000 PL

What driver?
My modem is ethernet device so it doesn't need any driver. Driver for NIC is
original from Vista.

Sounds like a driver or configuration issue.
What does "Network and Sharing Center" show for "Access"

Are you Using DHCP?
If you "view status" of your local area connection, what does
"Details" tell you?

Can we *assume* that this hardware worked with the previous O/S?

Here you are :)

I'm not familiar with that modem. The results of the ipconfig are very
confusing. Do you also have a router or is the computer connected directly
to the modem? I would try using static settings in Vista the same as the XP
settings as a troubleshooting step.

Computer is connected directly to modem but modem has embedded DHCP-??????.
So I'm using DHCP both in Windows XP and Windows Vista. Changing settings to
static IP in Vista allows me to get into modem configuration Web-interface
but address remains local (192.168...) and Vista shows only local
connection.

Repairing connection I receive recommendation to enable "Query User" in
Windows Firewall even when firewall is disabled.
