Network problem

I have two PCs networked by ethernet cable and both using Windows XP. The
'host' computer is connected to the internet by ntl Broadband 150 and ntl
'Help' does not support network connections.

No problem with the 'host' computer connecting with the internet but
frustrating experience with the 'Client' computer because connection to the
internet is intermittent. Almost daily when both PCs are booted up the
'Client' can't get on or access e-mail. Only remedy appears to be to close
down both PCs and boot up again.

Can anyone help?

I'd also strongly wonder if you don't have one or many viruses on your
systems. Do you have all the MS patches and your anti virus
signatures are up to date? You must set your anti-virus software to
check on a daily basis.
