Network Problem - Internet Access

I'm trying to network two machines with XP Pro to an
existing workgroup with two machines running Windows 98
SE. Host machine for internet access is running Windows
98, using DirecWay satellite service.

Network appears to be stable, file transfers between all
four have been successful. But the two XP Pro machines
are not able to access the internet.

Any ideas, or am I going to have to upgrade from 98 to XP
on the older machines?

Thanks,
Joe

I am having same problem. From command prompt, ping
yahoo.com, request could no find host yahoo.com. Seems
like I have no DNS resolution. I am able to ping by IP
Address.

You will need to set the DNS server information on the Windows XP machines
for the internet connection. Find out the DNS server IP addresses and add
them in on the TCP/IP properties on the XP computers.
