I'm using HP Designjet 130nr in my enviroment with XP pro OS. I'm about to
print from 2 worksations but unable to print on 10 of them. There are 12
worksation in all.

I checked the configurations on the workstation that able to printer from
the one thats unable to and they are similar. I've enalbled 'Share this
printer' and 'List in the directory' and it does. Its just that nothing will
print. I send a command to do so and the at the right corner of my system
tray the printer icon appears for a second, then disapears. I look in the
queue and there is no print jobs. What do you suppose the problem is? Please
advise. Thanks.

Check the system eventlog on the client and the server for any error 61 when
the client job fails.

You will definitely run into an issue when you start getting the other
machines connected to the XP Pro "server". XP Pro is limited to 10
concurrent connections. When someone prints and does not close the
application they printed from, the connection state is maintained. So once
you get the users connected, only the first 10 get to play.

Windows 2000 Professional is also limited to 10 simultaneous connections...
unless you are running Windows 2000 Server or Small Business Server.
Windows 2000 Server has unlimited connections, 2000 Small Business Server
is limited to 49 simultaneous connections.
