Hello,

I have a network and a printer hooked up to one of my
computers(and its shared) is there a way to print from
another computer with out puting in a user name and
password

share the printer on the computer where the printer device
is installed

start > setting printer> the printer installed> property

on the computer you want to send something to printer
installed the printter ( here a little tricky, as in win
2k "printer" is the software interface that send print job
to "print device", bear in mind this point, else you wont
understand the following articles)

start >setting > printers> add printer
then the add printer wizard start, select network printer
then browser for the shared printer

there are other ways as follow:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/using/productdoc/en
/default.asp?
url=/windowsxp/home/using/productdoc/en/print_connect_net_p
rinter.asp

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/using/productdoc/en
/default.asp?
url=/windowsxp/home/using/productdoc/en/print_connect_inter
net_printer.asp
