I was wondering if I could setup a GP to enable certain
users to use certain printers only? Id liek to disable use
of the certain printers for certain users. Is this just a
matter of adjusting the printers security properties or a
GP or OU issue?
Thank You,
Lucas

I have never seen anyone configure printer permissions from a GPO, since it
is not really a function that is supported. It might be possible, but highly
unlikely.

However, as for targeting users to printers, you can certainly setup the
printers for the users in a script located in the GPO. This will give them
default printers to choose from. If they find out the other printer names on
the network, the only way to lock those down is to configure perms on the
printer.

I think i Solved my own problem. I disabled the Everyone
group in the security settings then added the Group I
needed. Simple Simple. I cant believe I didnt try it
before.
Newb.
