I have a Computer A (Xp) networked to Computer B (Win98) and B has a HP
laserjet 4000T connected directly to the LPT1 port. On 'normal' documents I
have no problems but if I try to print a large picture from A I get the
following Xp message:
"Error: the printer driverdid not accept the image. Please check you have
adequate free space on your temporary drive. If you do please contact the
printer manufacturer for an updated driver."
Firstly I think I have got the latest driver. I am not sure I understand the
'temporary drive' bit. There is plenty of room on drive B and the Temp
folder is
in place. Have I missed something here. ALSO, maybe a clue. I can print the
same image from B directly to the printer ie not over the network. It is
slow but it prints. I've now added more RAM to the printer to see if it
helps (it doesn't!), but why won't it print these large files over the
network?.
Can anyone help please?
