Network Printing Problem

I have a problem with printing from my laptop to the
computer on the network that has a printer. The other
computers on the network has no problem printing. but when
I hook my laptop to the network it will not print. All the
computer hooked to the network is running Win 2000 pro.
and my laptop has win200 pro and the other laptop has win
XPpro. Which has the same problem as the my laptop I
connect to the network. And there is 3 other laptops that
get connected to the network does not have the problem of
printing. If I login as the administrator it will print.
The computer that has the printer on it is set to share
the printer on the network. And it is also allows any one
to use the printer. So how can I have the other 2 laptops
print to the computer that has the printer? The printer
cannot be assighned a ip address or setup for tcp/ip. It
is seetup to use LPT1. I hope I gave enough info. Some one
please help me out. Thank you for your time
 
On the PC acting as print server make sure that there is an account for the laptop users that has the same password that the laptops are using. Chances are that the administrator accounts all have the same password, which means they can connect to the printer ok.
