I have a Brother 1650N network laser printer connected physically to my
"local PC" via the Ethernet port to my Linksys WRT54G router. My IP
address for the LAN is 192.168.0.30 for the "local PC". For the Brother
printer, its on 192.168.0.11.
For some reason, when I use my laptop (via wireless), I cannot any longer
get anything to print. I have the Brother drive installed on the laptop,
and when I hit print, it seems like it's sending it to it, but the
document(s) just dissapear as nothing prints nor do I get any error on my
laptop.
My Brother driver on the local PC is setup to be Shared, with the name
"brother". My port settings are:
Port Name: IP_192.168.0.11
Printer Name or IP Address: 192.168.0.11
Protocol: LRP
LRP Settings - Quue Name: BINARY_P1
LRP Bye Counting Enabled
SNP Status Enable:
Community Name: public
SNMP Device Index: 1
What should the Brother drive on my laptop then say for all these entrees?
Wondering what am I missing? It used to work before, but I think after
upgrading to Windows XP SP2 it just stopped working.
Thanks!
