Network Printers not available

Howdy-

Something has changed in a configuration on some of my XP machines
whereby when users go to Add a New Network printer in the Add Printer
Wizard, the 'Browse for Printer' list never expands the "Microsoft
Windows Network" to show the available print servers and shared print
queues. On other XP machines in the same domain on the same subnet,
they are given the list of print servers and their available queues.
I'm not exactly sure what is different between these machines (nothing
has changed on the server, btw) - could it be some service not starting?
Anything ICF-related? A local policy configuration? Any help or
ideas would be appreciated.

TIA,
BM

I believe I figured out the problem - it was the binding order of the
Print Providers. After looking around every part of my machine, I
finally found the answer in the Resource Kit Documentation:
Go to Control Panel-Network Connections (this is _the_ only way) and
select the Advanced menu option, then Advanced Settings then the
Provider Order tab then promote the LanMan Print Services.

After that was done, it displayed the print servers and their queues
properly! What caused the change was likely a third-party NFS client
installation....

I tried this, LanMan is at the top, it does not work, but only on one
computer, others can see all the printers on the server??

TIA.
Peter
