Network Printers keep unmapping itself?

My network printers under win2k os keep unmapping
themselves after a computer shutdown. Why is this and is
there any solution to this?

Another thing, my network drives keep doing the same. They
have an red X on them after being idle for a certain
period. Sometimes the unmap itself, sometimes it's ok. Why
is this?

I tried changing the registry and some command in the
Microsoft Articles but still doesn't work.

Hi, about the network drives, try this MS article:

I had the same problem and this solution worked for me. I used both, the

registry option and the command option.
