Linuzzz

dear all,

anyone knows if it is possible to dump the memory of a network printer?
I have an HP and a Canon, with also the parallel port, and I would like
to dump the content of the RAM (and maybe also the disk...)

thanks in advance

regards
L.

Is it possible--maybe--is it practical--likely not, since the usual method
is to use the Mfrs. utility to do it.

I did run across a .ru web site some time ago that had some of the
utilities. The same web site has a utility that works with Epson printers,
and allows the user to reset the ink counter and tank "chip". I found the
Epson Mfrs utility for the R300 series to do all sorts of things that a
repair center might get into-- also on a similar web site.
