We are currently running Windows Server 2003 with 13 workstations either
running 2000 or XP. We have recently encountered a problem with one of our
network colour printers that just occurred over the weekend. On Friday there
were no problems, and Monday we could not access it.
The printer is an HP 932 running off a Windows XP based system. We are
using EZ Armor Firewall and AntiVirus, but don't believe that to be the
issue as when we disable the firewall, the problem still remains. The
printer can print locally, and can be seen throughout the network. It shows
as "ready" status and the print jobs can be seen. There are a variety of
error messages, ranging from "A required resource cannot be found", "this
handle is invalid" to " test page failed to print". We have deleted and
re-installed and rebooted with no success. We have also rebooted the server
